Discipleship through Local Partners
Many people in the French-speaking countries where we broadcast practice the Christian faith, but are easily influenced by tribal religions and an aggressive campaign by proponents of Islam. Only the truth of God’s Word can lead people to the path of spiritual freedom. God is using our media ministry to change people’s lives through evangelism and discipleship! Thousands of people every year respond to our broadcasts and ask to learn more through our Bible study correspondence program.
We could not do discipleship without our network of volunteers, many of whom are former students who have completed the Bible study course. Pastors who have participated in our church leader training events also volunteer to provide spiritual counseling for listeners who come with deep needs. A Bible study student in Benin wrote, “I found out about the Bible courses through a friend. Let me tell you what changes God brought in my life. Now I am experiencing the Word of God and by grace I will continue to grow.”
