Connecting with Jesus through Media

Connecting with Jesus through Media

India’s culture is complex: ancient customs and creeping materialism, extreme poverty and modern technology, religious and language diversity. Back to God Ministries International partners with ministries in India to bring people the Gospel message through media. We broadcast in the Hindi language and four local languages throughout Northern India and the Himalayan region. In some regions our producers work secretly to bring the Gospel of peace to people living amid conflict and religious oppression. For many, it is the first time they’ve heard the name of Jesus.

As we proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, lives are being transformed through radio, print materials, text-messaging correspondence, and one-on-one discipleship. As our media missionaries visit listeners in remote regions, they are encouraged to hear stories of God’s grace and changed lives. Sunita, a school teacher in the Jammu region, found Jesus through our program, and now encourages others to listen. She told us that she invites colleagues and friends to her home to hear our broadcasts. “Your program changed my life,” she testifies. “And some whom I have invited to listen with me have also trusted the Lord.”
